Little Starshine Ballet Plymouth offers joyful weekly ballet and dance classes for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and children aged 16 months to 9 years. Held at St Bartholomew’s Church on Outland Road (Wednesdays) and YMCA Plymouth (Sundays), our classes gently support early years development while introducing foundational ballet technique in a nurturing, unpressured environment.
From magical Baby Ballet bonding moments to imaginative Preschool Dance and structured ISTD Cecchetti Ballet for older children, every class is designed to spark joy, build confidence, and celebrate movement.

Expect sparkles, bubbles🫧, fairy wings🧚‍♂️, pointy toes🩰, parachutes🪂, and new friendships—all part of the Little Starshine experience.

Starlings dance class . Ages 18 months to 2 years- baby ballet in Plymouth

Starlings (Walking - 2.5 yrs)

A gentle, playful class where little ones explore movement with their grown-ups through rhythm, songs, and props. Perfect for tiny feet taking first steps into dance.

Shimmers (2.5 - 4 yrs)

A joyful ballet class for little ones, with parents warmly present but not required to join. Children build confidence through gentle ballet technique, storytelling, and imaginative dance.

Superstars (4 - 7 yrs)

An independent ballet class with creative themes keeping young minds stimulated. Dancers learn basic technique and graceful movement, growing confidence with every plié.

Sparkles (3.5 - 5 yrs)

An independent ballet class, gracefully transitioning from playful steps to poised movement. Creative themes are carefully blended in with learning basic ballet technique

Starshine Juniors (6 + yrs)

In a calm & unpressured environment, the children gently transition over to a more structured class, following the ISTD world-renowned, Cecchetti method of ballet. Beginners are always warmly welcomed
