Welcome to Little Starshine Ballet, offering magical and engaging baby, toddler, preschool, and young children’s ballet classes in Plymouth.
Our classes create a nurturing and inspiring dance experience for children aged 16 months (or walking) to 7 years. Combining gentle ballet technique with imaginative play, music, storytelling, engaging props and adventure-themed sessions, brings the magic of ballet to life. Designed to support early years development, our ballet classes help children grow in confidence, coordination, creativity, and social skills within a warm and supportive environment.

LITTLE STARSHINE BALLET CLASS COSTS
Here’s how our pricing works:
Booked half-termly
Fees are charged in half termly blocks, which aligns with local school dates for ease and consistency.. There are typically 6 weeks per half term.
Flexible start dates
Families can join at any point during the term and only pay from their child’s first class.
Trial Classes

Baby & Toddler Ballet Classes
in Plymouth (Ages 16 months or
Walking - 2.5 yrs)
A gentle, playful baby and toddler ballet class where little ones explore movement alongside their grown-ups through music, rhythm, storytelling, and engaging props.
Designed for tiny feet taking their very first steps into the magical world of ballet, this class is taught by an experienced and qualified ballet teacher and helps build confidence, coordination, and social skills in a calm, nurturing environment.
Ballet wear is required for all classes and although our tutus are not compulsory, most children choose to wear our beautiful Little Starshine Ballet tutus (available in our online shop). SHIMMERS
Toddler & Preschool Ballet Classes
in Plymouth (Ages 2.5 - 4 yrs)
A joyful toddler and preschool ballet class for little ones, taught by an experienced and qualified ballet teacher. An adult is present and encouraged to join in, but it is not compulsory.
This class builds confidence, coordination, and social skills in a calm, nurturing environment.
Ballet wear is required for all classes. While not compulsory, many children love wearing our Little Starshine Ballet tutus, available in our online shop. You can also save with our ‘value starter kit’, which includes everything your child needs in one affordable package.
SUPERSTARS
Children’s Ballet Classes
in Plymouth (Ages 4–7)
Independent beginner children’s ballet class in Plymouth, gently progressing from our ‘Shimmers’ class. Led by a highly experienced, fully qualified teacher, classes offer a warm, supportive space where children build confidence.
With a little more structure while staying fun and pressure-free, children develop grace, musicality, and coordination through imaginative, age-appropriate ballet.
As children transition into an independent class, our set uniform becomes compulsory, the Little Starshine Ballet Skirted Leotard, available in our online shop. There’s no pressure to have this straight away; children are welcome to wear comfy clothes for the first couple of weeks while they settle in.
