Tavistock URC offers easy access for all, with public parking right alongside the building and the bus route just steps away, making it simple for families who prefer not to drive. You will find us in the Lower Deck Hall of the church.
LITTLE STARSHINE BALLET COSTS
Here’s how our pricing works:
Booked half-termly
Fees are charged in half termly blocks, in line with local school term dates. Each half term typically consists of 5 to 7 weeks.
Flexible start dates
Subject to availability, children may join at any time during the half term, with fees charged only from their first class.
Priority Rebooking
Existing Little Starshine Ballet families receive a two week Priority Booking period, usually during Weeks 3 and 4 of the current term, to secure their child's place before bookings open to the public.Any remaining places are then released for general booking. As places are allocated on a first come, first served basis, we recommend booking during the Priority Booking period to avoid disappointment.
Trial Classes
Free trial classes may be offered, subject to availability.

SHIMMERS
Toddler & Preschool Ballet
(18m - 3 yrs)
A playful preschool and toddler ballet class, taught by an experienced and qualified ballet teacher. Little ones explore their first ballet steps alongside their grown-ups in a warm, nurturing environment.
Through gentle ballet, storytelling, props, and music, children build confidence, coordination, and independence while developing a love for movement and supporting early years learning.
Ballet wear and ballet shoes are required. Our beautiful Little Starshine Ballet tutus are worn by most children, but are optional. Visit our online shop for all your dance needs and save with our ‘value starter kit’.
SUPERSTARS
Young Children's Ballet
(3.5 - 6 yrs)
Our preschool ballet class in Tavistock is taught by an experienced and qualified ballet teacher in a warm, supportive environment.
With gentle structure, imaginative themes, and age-appropriate technique, children build grace, musicality, and confidence while having fun.
As children transition into an independent class, our set uniform becomes compulsory, the Little Starshine Ballet Skirted Leotard, available in our online shop. There’s no pressure to have this straight away; children are welcome to wear comfy clothes for the first couple of weeks while they settle in.
